Overview
- The global editor is used to change item fields in bulk by choosing all records or filtering to a smaller selection
- Up to 3 filters can be used at a time
- Depending on the field -> the criteria needed will change.
- Fields changed can be selected from a predefined dropdown list
- Any changes will need to be committed by clicking the “Perform Edit” button in the bottom-right corner
Navigating to the Global Editor
- Main Menu
- Manage My Inventory -> View & Manage My Inventory
- Item tab -> Global Editor

- Edit Inventory Data pop-up -> Global Editor (top-right corner)

Using Global Editor

- Open the global editor
- Change this field -> dropdown to select field wish to edit
- To -> what field will be edited to (leave blank for null)

- In all records -> Click the checkbox if the change will apply to all
- To use filters, begin at: “In records where”
- Dropdown 1 -> Choose the category for the filter
- Dropdown 2 -> Choose conditional
EX: Equals, Less than, Is empty, begins with…= - Textbox 3 (appears after first 2 filled) -> Enter criteria
- Use the second and third rows if using multiple filters
- Click “Preform Edit” to save changes (bottom-right corner)

Criteria
- Imputed by the user with standard characters
- Can also be true/false buttons that need to be selected
Tips and Tricks
- The global editor is best used for changing between Yes/No options.
- EX: Discontinued items or Taxable items.
- To clear out the current filters select a field and highlight everything, then backspace/delete.
- Single Unit SKU is used if SKU is a lot and 1 piece of the lot has an individual SKU.
