Set Actual Ship Date after Importing Tracking Numbers

Overview

SEOM can be configured to set the actual ship date of an item or order to the current date plus any number of days automatically upon importing orders. If this is the case, you will see values in both the Qty and Shipped fields on the Process Orders screen.

If you do not want to show that an item is shipped until you ship it via your shipping software or a drop-shipper, configure SEOM to automatically set the actual ship date after you import tracking numbers instead of setting the actual ship date upon importing orders.

  1. Go to Main Menu > Settings > System Functions > Store Setup Wizard > Shipping > Page 4.
  2. Select the check box labeled Set Actual Ship Date after importing tracking numbers.
  3. Click Save and Exit.
