POS Tax Exempt Sales

  1. Select Cust. Lookup or press F5 on the keyboard. The Customer Entry dialog box opens:

  1. Add a new customer record or select Search and find the appropriate customer record.
  2. Select Tax Exempt. Enter the customer’s Tax ID #.
  1. Click Save.
  2. Add line items. There are five ways to add line items:
    1. Select items on the Hot Keys tab.
    2. Scan the barcode on the item.
    3. Type a SKU in the SKU field and press Enter on the keyboard.
    4. Type a barcode in the Barcode field and press Enter or Tab on the keyboard.
    5. Perform a product search by clicking Prod. Lookup or pressing F6 on the keyboard.
  3. Enter payment.
    1. Select the Key Pad tab.
    2. Select the appropriate payment method and complete the sale.
  4. Give the receipt to the customer.
