Copy Option Lists

Overview

  • SEOM can use a product’s attributes (options) to build sub-SKUs for the purpose of tracking inventory at the “option” level.
  • It is possible to save time entering option lists for inventory records by using the Copy Option Lists screen to copy the option lists from one inventory record to another inventory record.
  • Once option lists have been created for a product, sub-SKUs can be built.

Copy All Option Lists from Another SKU

The list of inventory records can be sorted by SKU or Name by selecting one of the radio buttons in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

The list can also be filtered by selecting the # button or one of the lettered buttons to see only those records that begin with a number or a specific letter.

  1. Go to Main Menu>Accordion>Manage My Inventory>View & Manage My Inventory>Attributes & Options tab
  2. Navigate to the inventory record to which options lists will be copied.
  3. In the Accordion on the left side of the screen, select [Copy Options from Another SKU] which opens the Copy Option Lists screen.
  4. Choose the [Select Another SKU] radio button and select a SKU whose option lists will be copied from the list of inventory records in the center of the screen.
  5. Next, choose the [Copy all of this SKU’s Option Lists] radio button.
  6. Click the [Copy Lists] button.
  7. The program prompts for confirmation before making the changes. Click [OK] to proceed or [Cancel] to abandon the change.
  8. Click the [Close] button to exit the Copy Option Lists screen.

Copy Some Option Lists from Another SKU

The list of inventory records can be sorted by SKU or Name by selecting one of the radio buttons in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

  1. Go to Main Menu>Accordion>Manage My Inventory>View & Manage My Inventory>Attributes & Options tab
  2. Navigate to the inventory record to which options lists will be copied.
  3. In the Accordion on the left side of the screen, select [Copy Options from Another SKU] which opens the Copy Option Lists screen.
  4. Choose the [Select Another SKU] radio button and select a SKU whose option lists will be copied from the list of inventory records in the center of the screen.
  5. Next, choose the [Copy just these selected Option Lists] radio button.
  6. Check the box or boxes of the option lists to be copied from the drop-down lists next to the [Copy just these selected option lists] radio button.
  7. Click the [Copy Lists] button.
  8. The program prompts for confirmation before making the changes. Click [OK] to proceed or [Cancel] to abandon the change.
  9. Click the [Close] button to exit the Copy Option Lists screen.

Copy All Option Lists of the Last SKU Copied

  1. Once the option list(s) of an inventory record are copied, its SKU and Name are populated in the SKU and Name fields next to the Use Last SKU Copied radio button.
  2. To copy option lists of this same SKU to another inventory record, navigate to the target inventory record and open the Copy Option Lists screen again.
  3. Click the [Use Last SKU Copied] radio button.
  4. Click the [Copy Lists] button to copy all of the option lists of the inventory record identified in the SKU and Name fields to the target inventory record.
  5. The program prompts for confirmation before making the changes.
  6. Click [OK] to proceed with the changes or [Cancel]  to abandon the changes.
  7. Click the [Close] button to exit the Copy Option Lists  screen.
