Overview
This guide walks you through setting up your Stone Edge POS system with supported Volcora hardware devices. These devices have been tested and can be confirmed to work seamlessly with Stone Edge POS.
Supported Devices
- V-SSTM-A1B – Customer/Operator Monitor
- 500022-J – Cash Drawer
- V-WRP2-A1B – Thermal Receipt Printer
By completing this guide, you will:
- Install required drivers
- Configure Stone Edge POS hardware settings
- Test transactions and receipt printing
System Requirements
- Windows 11
- Admin access on workstation
- Stone Edge POS installed and licensed
- Volcora Drivers
- Drivers for Receipt printer can be found HERE.
Hardware setup
Monitor Setup (V-SSTM-A1B)
- Connect monitor via HDMI and USB
- Power on the monitor
- Monitor should install drivers that are needed for touch.
Receipt Printer Setup (V-WRP2-A1B) / Cash Drawer Setup (500022-J)
- Download driver from Volcora support page- Here – for POS 80C
- Run installer as Administrator
- Connect printer via USB
- Connect to cashdrawer via Rj11 cable provided.
- Power on printer
- Set POS-80C as you default on the POS machine.
- Open the printing preferences
- go to Print Settings tab
- In the drop down next to CashDrawer select “After printing”
- Apply settings
Stone Edge POS Settings
In Stone Edge you will need to update the following System parameters to ensure your POS works with Volcora Hardware.
- CreditSlipTemplate – Defaults to Credit Slip update to, Credit Slip-Volcora
- CCSignatureTemplate – Defaults to POSNewCCsignature update to, POSNewCCSignature-Volcora
- POSInvoiceTemplate – Defaults to POS New Invoice update to, POS New Invoice-Volcora
