Executing the Setup Guide

Procedure

  1. Enter the company Name on the Company tab.
  2. Enter additional address, phone or website information in Info1 - 4.
  3. Optional: Select Add Logo to navigate to the location of an image file to be inserted on store paperwork or e-mail correspondence.
  4. Select the Warehouse tab.
  5. Enter the Name of the warehouse and its physical address, e-mail address, and fax number.
  6. Select the Users tab.
  7. Select Add and enter the Initials and Name of an employee who uses the program.
  8. Select OK.
  9. Repeat steps 7 - 8 as often as necessary to define all of your warehouse employees.
  10. Select the Packing tab.

  11. Select the features or settings you want to enable. Clear a check box to disable the feature or setting.

  12. Select the Shipping tab.

  13. Make a selection in the Choose a shipper: list and then make the appropriate selection in the Then choose a shipping system: list. Refer to the setup Knowledge Base page for the type of shipping software you plan to use.  

  14. If you plan to print shipping labels through Endicia DAZzle, select Setup a connection to Endicia DAZzle for printing USPS labels and set your preferences, and configure the Rubber Stamps feature (optional).

  15. Optional: Enter your account information in Setup UPS Account for Rate Shopping.

  16. Select Configure Shipping Methods to map the shipping methods defined in Monsoon Order Manager to the carrier's actual shipping method names in Monsoon Fulfillment Manager. You can also manually define non-standard shipping carriers through Create Other Carriers and Shipping Methods found at the bottom of this screen.

  17. Select the Miscellaneous tab and specify the location where the program should store attachments. Currently, the only attachments are Invoices which are sent by Monsoon Order Manager when orders are imported. You can also set a default font size used in data sheets throughout the Monsoon Fulfillment Manager.

  18. Select the X in the upper right-hand corner to exit the Setup Guide. A message box asks if you want to save  your changes (Yes), keep the setup guide open (No), or Cancel your changes and close the setup Guide.

  19. The Advanced Settings tab opens the Advanced System Parameters screen. You are notified that any changes you made in the other Setup Guide tabs are saved before this screen is opened and are asked if you want to continue. Respond Yes to view system parameters, or No to remain at the Setup Guide.
