Different Reply-to Email Setting

Overview

You can start in Stone Edge Version 8.004 have a separate reply-to email address when sending emails. When customers receive the email and click reply, the email address should default to that different address.

Using this system parameter will allow customers to receive from one email and reply to another. This would allow you to have one inbox that everyone can check or set up an inbox with rules for how the emails are forwarded or sent to specific folders if needed.

Settings

Key points:

  • This setting is system-wide.
  • It can only be used if your emails are set to send via Stone Edge.
  • It can only be set for the primary email, not the alternative.

System Parameter – EmailReplyTo

Description – Only usable if EmailSendMethod is set to “OrderManager.” This email address will prepopulate for the customer when clicking “Reply” on automated emails sent from Stone Edge. This email can be different from the “From Address.”
