Overview

Just as its name indicates, this screen is used to add one or more products to a manual order.
It is accessed by the Add Item(s) button on the Manual Orders: Items screen.

Description of the Screen

Manual Orders: Add Items screen

This Order: Section

shows the number of items currently included in the order and the current dollar total

Search SKUs Button

this opens the Search Inventory (Find a Product) screen
enter criteria in one or more fields to locate a particular product

Multi-Select Button

this opens the Multi-Select screen, where more than one item can be selected and added to an order at once
enter the Qty to Order; select the On Sale box if the item should be on sale and enter the desired Sale Price
when all selections are made, select OK to add the items to the order

Add New SKU Button

opens the Add to Inventory (Add New Product) screen, where a new inventory record can be added quickly
LocalSKU, Product Name, Unit Price, Unit Cost and Published Weight fields are required

Add New Product (Edit Inventory)

SKU Drop-down List

if the desired SKU is known, select it from this list
alternately, use the Search SKUs, Multi-Select or Add New SKU buttons to add items to the order

Name Field

displays the name of the item as entered on its inventory record
this field cannot be edited here

ATP Field

displays the number of units of the selected item currently in stock

Price Field

displays the regular selling price of the item as entered on its inventory record

Sale Price Field

displays the selling price of the item when it is marked as being "on-sale"

Backorder this item on this order Check box

select this box to force the program to backorder the item, even if there are units currently in stock

$ Level Drop-down List

this list is not visible unless the user has defined multi-level pricing (set parameter UseMultiLevelPricing = TRUE and enter values in parameters PricingLevel1Name - PricingLevel10Name, as needed)
select the appropriate price level for this order, such as wholesale, retail, club, etc.

Order, Discounts, Options, & Ship Dates

Order Section

this is the default view of the Add Items screen

Quantity to Order Field

type in a number of units or use the arrows to increase or decrease the quantity of the item to order

Sell at Field

displays the current selling price of the item, but allows the user to override that price by over-typing the value in this field
this is a temporary change – it does not change the selling price in the item's inventory record

Discounts Section

select this to see the fields described below

"Type" Radio Buttons and Related Fields

None – selected by default
Quantity – indicates the discount is based on the quantity of items ordered
View – select this to see quantity discounts currently defined for the selected item
% Off – indicates the discount is a specific percentage deducted from the order total
Cost+ – indicates the discount is based on the unit cost of the item plus an additional amount specified by the user
Amount – enter the percentage of the discount to be applied when the %Off radio button is selected
n/a – originally indicates that no discount has been applied to the order, but changes to "discount" when %Off is selected or "markup" when Cost+ is selected
Unlabeled Field – enter the dollar amount to add to the unit cost to determine the discount to be applied when the Cost+ radio button is selected

Options Section

select this to view the fields described below

choose a radio button, select the product attribute or attributes and add the item to the order

Option 1-5 Radio Button

this radio button is selected by default
choose a product attribute from the list

Options 6-10 Radio Button

select this to see additional product attributes and make a selection

Freeform Options Radio Button

select this to add a Freeform Option to an item

Ship Dates Section

select this to view the fields described below

Expected Field

enter the date the item is expected to be shipped

Actual Field

enter the date the item was actually shipped

Calendar Button

put the cursor in either the Expected or Actual fields and select the Calendar to enter a date

Add Item and Continue Button

select his to add the item to the order and continue adding other items

Add Item and Close Button

select this to add the item to the order and close this screen
