Customers: Orders & Transactions

Use the Next Topic and Previous Topic arrows, and , in the Navigation Pane of the Knowledge Base to move sequentially through the topics explaining the Customers screen. (The buttons are actually white on the black background of the Navigation Pane.)

Overview

This topic discusses the information and activities accessed through the Orders & Transactions tab of the Customers accordion Menu:

view a customer's orders and transactions
apply a payment against a customer's account balance
print account statements to send to customers
place a new order for the customer

To access this screen go to one of the following:

Main Menu>Manage My Customers>Manage My Customers>Orders & Transactions

Main Menu>What would you like to do?>Manage My Customers>Orders & Transactions

Description of the screen

Apply Payment

opens the Apply Payment screen
log a payment made by check, purchase order, etc.

Create a new Order

opens the Manual Orders screen with the customer information filled in

Print Statement

opens the Customer Statement Filter screen
select a date range and customers for whom statements are printed

RFM Data & Order History

opens the RFM Data screen, which shows detailed recency, frequency and monetary data about the customer

View Selected Order

select an order in the list and select this to see its details at the Process Orders screen

View All Orders

opens the Process Orders screen with the All Orders quick filter applied

Orders Section

displays a list of the customer's previous orders and their current account balance

Transactions Section

displays a list of the customer's previous transactions and the net total of those transactions
