When the system detects a situation which may require manual intervention, it issues an alert. To view alerts, go to the Process tab and select Show Alerts to open the screen shown below.
Alerts can be issued for various reasons, such as a change in the unit cost of a product between the time the purchase order was created and the time it is received from the supplier. Select Additional Details to see more information about the alert.
When the issue is resolved, select OK of the selected alert and then Acknowledge Selected to remove the alert from the display at this screen. The Alert still remains in the database table.
