Procedure

  1. Go to Purchase Orders.

  2. Select a purchase order in the list.

  3. Select Receive PO.

  4. Use one of the methods below to select the items to receive:

    1. Single-click a SKU to populate the Barcode, SKU, Supplier's, Qty fields and select Receive to add it to the Received Items list. You can manually change the Qty field if all ordered units did not come in at the same time.

    2. Double-click the SKU field to populate the Barcode, SKU, Supplier's, Qty fields, and add the full quantity to the Received Items list.

    3. Scan the barcode of the item, one or more times, to add that number of units to the list of Received Items. If you scan the item more times than the Exp Qty, the program asks if you really want to receive it. Respond Yes or  No.

    4. Select Receive All to add all Expected Items to Received Items, with their expected quantities.

  1. Select Print Labels for all items received to automatically print barcode labels for the list of Received Items. The format of the labels is controlled by the system parameter BarcodeLabelTemplate.

  2. To preview the Receive Inventory report, select Test Print.

  3. When  the information in Received Items is complete, select Post Data to write the data in the database.  If system parameter UsePrinterMenu is set to TRUE, the system displays the Select a Printer dialog box so that you can choose where to print the Receive Inventory report.

Note: The system closes the PO automatically if all items are received.
