Overview

Procedure

  1. Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Task Scheduler

  1. Select Create Task.

  1. Enter a Name and Description to identify the task, and Configure for: your operating system. Select the Triggers tab.

  1. Select New, and choose how often you want the task to run. In this example, the Sync Manager runs every five minutes.

  1. Select OK.

  1. Select the Actions tab and select New. Browse to the location of the Order Manager's Sync Manager executable.

  1. It is required to specify the -Storename yourOMstorename argument so the application knows which store database to process. Create a separate Windows task for each Order Manager store file.

  2. Although not required, it is a best practice to enter -Silent in Add arguments so the program runs without user intervention. Otherwise, the Order Manager Sync screen opens and you have to press the Process Messages button.

  1. Select OK to create the system task.

  2. Scroll down the Task Scheduler Summary to see the list of active tasks.
