Inventory Adjustments

Overview

The Inventory Adjustments screen shows all of the manual changes made to the Quantity on Hand of a given product at each warehouse. This requires system parameter TrackInventoryAdjustments set to TRUE. An Inventory Adjustments report is also available.

The date the change was made, the changes to quantity and unit cost, the reason for the adjustment, and the user that made the change are included in the display.  

To access the Inventory Adjustments screen go to:

Main Menu>Accordion>Manage My Inventory>View & Manage My Inventory>Item>View Adjustments

Description of the screen

Date Range:

From:

• enter a starting date by which to filter the records displayed

Thru:

• enter an ending date by which to filter the records displayed

Calendar

• put the cursor in one of the date fields and select this button to use the Select Date screen to enter a date

AZ and ZA

• select one of these buttons to sort the records in ascending or descending order by the Date column

Net Change

• shows the sum of all of the changes made to the QOH of the item in the selected time period

Datasheet

Date

• shows the date the change was made

Change

• shows the actual value entered each time a change is made

Unit Cost

• supplier cost for the product

Reason

• includes the warehouse where the change was made and a brief explanation of why the change was made, usually a cycle count

User

• contains the name of the user who made the change to the item's QOH

Close

• exits the Inventory Adjustments screen
