Customers: Quotes

Use the Next Topic and Previous Topic arrows, and , in the Navigation Pane of the Knowledge Base to move sequentially through the topics explaining the Customers screen. (The buttons are actually white on the black background of the Navigation Pane.)

Overview

This topic explains the fields displayed in the Quotes section of the Customers Accordion Menu.

A quote is an estimate which can stored in the program, but it is not yet an order. If the customer chooses to proceed with the purchases contained in the quote, it can be converted into a bona fide order and processed as such.

Quotes are created through the Manual Orders screen.

To access this screen go to one of the following:

Main Menu Accordion>Manage My Customers>View & Manage My Customers>Quotes

Main Menu>What would you like to do?>Manage My Customers>Quotes

Customers: Quotes

Quote List

displays a list of quotes associated with the current customer

View Quote

select an existing quote from the list and select this to see the details of the quote at Manual Orders
to create a new quote, go to Manual Orders and use the Quote button
