Edit Option List

Overview

• The Edit Option one of the possible attributes of a product; for example, blue is an option for the color attribute of a product List screen is opened by the Edit Option List and Add Option List buttons on the Attributes & Options tab of the Inventory screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI).

• When the Add Option List button is selected the caption of the screen changes to reflect that an option list is being added, not edited.

• Option Lists categorize a product's attributes.

Description of the Screen

List Name Field

• enter a name for the option list

Prompt Field

• text used instead of List Name when placing an order

Image Path Field

• if the Inventory Import from the Shopping cart an e-commerce software system that allows a retailer to sell products on the Web. In the context of Monsoon OMS, it refers to the settings that describe a merchant's web store to the program, allowing it communicate with the online shopping cart and import orders and other information sends this information, it is stored here

Price Field

• Price +/- modifier if option has no selectable option i.e. Text box

Cost Field

• Cost +/- modifier if option has no selectable option i.e. Text box

Weight Field

• additional weight of this option

• the kind of "control" on the user interface used to choose an option in the list:

Required Check Box

• whether it is mandatory to choose an option from this list when placing an order

Use when building Sub-SKUs Check Box

• scroll to the right to see this field in the upper grid

• when sub-SKUs are built at the Inventory interface, the setting of this field is only checked if Viking Coders Inventory Manager or Mod Stop's  Inventory Trk Pro are installed at Miva for tracking inventory by variant

• option lists for a product record created through an order or product import where the XML a mark-up language similar to HTML, except that it is used to structure data, not display it. XML is used to order data in such a way that it can be passed between applications with relative ease. file did not include order option information (WebOptionCodeDelimiter, AddToSubSKUIfNoCodeDelimiter) have this field selected automatically by the program; refer to system parameter HonorUseForBuildOnOrderImport to control whether the field is used for building sub-SKUs   

• the Don't Use field of a given option value overrides the setting of this field

Save Button

• when all information has been added or changed at this screen to make the changes effective

Cancel Button

• select this button to abandon the changes made at this screen before the Save button is clicked
