Overview

• The Print Shipping Label screen is opened by the Print Shipping Label button on the Pack and Ship screen when ShipRush is the integrated shipping system for a shipping carrier (FedEx or UPS).

Description of the screen

Shipping Method

• if a shipping method is already assigned to the order it appears here

• to change the existing shipping method, choose another method from the list

Pack

• select a shipping carrier's package type

COD $

• enter a Cash on Delivery value or use Set to enter the current balance due as the COD amount

Set

• sets the COD value of the order to its balance due

Declared Value

• enter the value of the package for customs purposes

Weight

• if an electronic scale is in use and the package is on the scale, this field displays the actual weight of the items and the packaging materials

• if a scale is not used, this field contains the weight value that is set in the product's inventory record   

Scale

• if Monsoon OMS is configured to use an electronic scale, this button and the Zero Scale buttons are visible

• when a package is placed on the scale, the program enters the value displayed on the scale in the Weight field

Zero Scale

• clears the previous weight reading from the scale and resets it to zero

• an electronic scale must be configured in Monsoon OMS for this button to be visible

Dimensions (in.) L

• if this information is provided in the product's inventory record, it is displayed here or it can be manually typed into these fields

Dimensions (in.) W

• if this information is provided in the product's inventory record, it is displayed here or it can be manually typed into these fields

Dimensions (in.) H

• if this information is provided in the product's inventory record, it is displayed here or it can be manually typed into these fields

Box

• if the user defined one or more boxes as inventory items, they are listed here, and if the box definition contains dimensions, they are populated in the Size (inches) field

• choose the box used to ship the items from the list

• the list of boxes presented here are not related to any shipping carrier's box or package types

Set Ship Date To

• manually type in a date or select Calendar to set the date on which the package is considered to be "shipped"

Calendar

• opens the Select a Date screen, which can be used to set the Ship Date for the order

Desc of Goods

• this field is primarily for customs purposes (international shipments)

• system parameter DefaultDescriptionofGoods can be used to set a default value for this field

• Residential?

• select this if the package is sent to a residential address as opposed to a business address

Have Shipper Send E-mail?

• select this to have the carrier send an e-mail to the customer

Print

• prints a shipping label through the integrated ShipRush software

Cancel

• exits the Print Shipping Label screen
