The Add/Edit Shipping Method screen is called by the Add or Edit buttons above the Shipping Methods section of the Carriers & Shipping Methods screen accessed through File>Setup>Shipping>Create Other Carriers and Shipping Methods.
It is used to Add or Edit a non-standard shipping method for a carrier that is not one of the standard carriers already defined in the program. Most users will not need to use this feature.
this field is pre-populated with the code assigned to the selected non-standard carrier
when adding a new shipping method for the non-standard carrier, enter its name in this field
when editing an existing shipping method for the non-standard carrier, delete or over-type the value in this field
adds the new shipping method to the list in the Carriers & Shipping Methods screen or saves the changes
exits this screen without creating the new shipping method or saving changes to an existing shipping method
