Here are the steps that should be taken, in the most common order, to ensure the smooth installation and setup of the program:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Review the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/articles\/system-requirements\/\">system requirements<\/a>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Make sure that your hardware meets or exceeds those specified on our Web site.<\/li>\r\n<li>Maure sure you have the software that is needed for SEOM to run with the latest updates. For instance, Microsoft Access is a requirement. This needs to be installed prior to installing the program.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>Become familiar with the features of the <a href=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/categories\/shopping-carts-marketplaces\/\">Shopping Cart<\/a> or Carts used with SEOM. Determine what cart integrations are needed and get cart credentials to <a href=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/articles\/shopping-carts\/\">setup shopping carts<\/a> in Stone Edge.<\/li>\r\n<li>Have your <a href=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/categories\/payment-processors-gateways\/\">payment processor<\/a> credentials handy if you wish to process credit card transactions in SEOM.<\/li>\r\n<li>Install <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/sql-server\/sql-server-downloads\">SQL Server<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/ssms\/install\/install\">SMSS<\/a> (if using a SQL database) and <a href=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/articles\/installing-stone-edge\/\">SEOM<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n<li>Familiarize yourself with the program by viewing the order, product, customer and supplier data that was imported. Review the <em>Knowledge Base<\/em>\u00a0article,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/articles\/processing-orders\/\">Processing Orders<\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0This article is a general reference and may not suit the flow of every user&#8217;s business.
