All screenshots were from a display with 1920&#215;1080 resolution.<\/p>\n<h2>Overview<\/h2>\n<p>Creating a new order for existing customers within Stone Edge is quick and simple and will save you time. <strong>Note:<\/strong> The orders placed within Stone Edge can be attributed to a sales channel but will not send the order up to the web cart since no Web order is generated when the order is created within Stone Edge.<\/p>\n<h2>Prerequisites<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>SKUs must be present within Stone Edge.<\/li>\n<li>Shipping needed to be set up to rate shop for shipping. See the setup Article <a href=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/articles\/accessing-the-rate-shopping-system\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Third-Party payment processors must be set up if you are planning on charging credit cards thru Stone Edge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Navigation<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Main Menu &gt; Create New Order Accordion &gt; Select Either &#8220;For an Existing Customer.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Main Menu &gt; Create a New Order Icon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Creating a New Order<\/h2>\n<h3>Existing Customer<\/h3>\n<p>Depending on the navigation path you choose for an existing customer, the screens might be slightly different. Both paths are outlined below.<\/p>\n<h4>Navigation Path: Create a New Order Icon<\/h4>\n<p>This icon will open the manual order screen with no information populated.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To search for an existing customer:\n<ol>\n<li>Select the Magnifying glass either next to or below the &#8220;Bill to.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Search for the customer by name or customer ID number.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0For multiple records or customers with similar names, you will be asked to select a customer.<\/li>\n<li>Then confirm the account information.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Navigation Path: Create a New Order Accordion &gt; For Existing Customer<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>The Search Window for existing customers will open.<\/li>\n<li>You can search by any field to locate the customer record. A customer ID or Phone number is recommended.<\/li>\n<li>If more than one customer has the same name or other matching information. So, a CSR can send an Email confirmation that their order has been processed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Choosing the number of sales receipts and packing slips needed for the order can be done at this screen prior to approval.<\/li>\n<li>If checked to print a Shiping label (only if the internal shipping system is setup)\n<ul>\n<li>Package weight and dimensions are needed for accurate rate shopping.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3025\" src=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Manual_Order_Print_Shipping_Label.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"403\" height=\"535\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Click one of the print options (blue buttons).\n<ol>\n<li>Do not print -&gt; Saves the order without printing.<\/li>\n<li>Print Now -&gt; Saves the order and prints immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Print Later-&gt; Saves the order and sends documents to the print queue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Order will be saved, and a Stone Edge order number will be Created.<\/li>\n<li>If the order is not approved, then you will need to approve the order in the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/articles\/view-process-my-orders\/\">Process My Orders<\/a>&#8221; screen.
