Overview<\/h2>\n

Initially, the standard reports that are provided with\u00a0SEOM<\/span> print on the default printer of the current (local) workstation. If the program is being used on a LAN, it might be preferable to have all reports of a specific type print on the same shared printer rather than at each workstation. For example, if a special form is being used to print Invoices or Packing slips, it is would be simplest to have that special form placed in a specific tray of a single printer that can be accessed by all workstations in the LAN.<\/p>\n

  1. Make sure the program is set to Show the Microsoft Access ribbon before beginning this process.\u00a0\u00a0Main Menu>Settings>Hide or Show the Microsoft Access Ribbon<\/strong><\/i>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. From the\u00a0Main Menu<\/i>, press the\u00a0F11\u00a0<\/strong>key to open the database window.<\/li>\n
    2. Select (single click) the\u00a0Reports\u00a0<\/strong>group from the left-hand navigation pane labeled\u00a0Objects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Select (single-click) the report to be modified.<\/li>\n
    4. From the\u00a0File\u00a0<\/strong>menu, select\u00a0Page Setup<\/strong>\u00a0and then click the\u00a0Page\u00a0<\/strong>tab.<\/li>\n
    5. Click\u00a0Use Specific Printer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    6. Click\u00a0Printer\u00a0<\/strong>and select the preferred printer from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n
    7. Click\u00a0OK\u00a0<\/strong>twice to exit the\u00a0Page Setup<\/i>\u00a0screen.<\/li>\n
    8. Minimize the database window.<\/li>\n
    9. Making a change such as this, is in fact creating a custom report.
