    Select a Group of SKUs to Change<\/h2>\n

    For this example we will change a group of SKUs that\u00a0Begin with\u00a0“123” to “abc”:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Click the radio button labeled\u00a0Begin with<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Enter “123” in the unlabeled text field immediately below the “Change SKUs that<\/strong>” radio buttons.<\/li>\n
    3. Enter “abc” in the\u00a0To<\/strong>\u00a0text field.<\/li>\n
    4. Click the\u00a0[Build List<\/strong>]\u00a0button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Review the proposed changes in the New<\/strong> SKU\u00a0column of the right-hand pane.<\/li>\n
      2. Click the\u00a0[Test SKUs<\/strong>]\u00a0button to check for possible errors.<\/li>\n
      3. If the changes were tested successfully, click the\u00a0[Make Changes<\/strong>]\u00a0button to make the changes permanent. The program will prompt the user for confirmation once again before making the requested changes.<\/li>\n
      4. Click\u00a0[OK<\/strong>]\u00a0to proceed with the changes, or\u00a0[Cancel<\/strong>]\u00a0to abort the change request.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Select a Single SKU and Add it to the List of SKUs to Change<\/h2>\n

        Method 1 – Using the Search Button<\/h3>\n

        For this example, we will add another single SKU<\/strong> that does not meet the pattern in the previous example to the list of SKUs to be changed.<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Click the\u00a0[Search<\/strong>]\u00a0button, which opens the\u00a0Search Inventory<\/i> screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Use any of the fields on this screen as criteria to locate the SKU<\/strong> in question. In this example, we are looking for a SKU that starts with “0E0” as part of the SKU. The result is seen in the Select\u00a0a Product<\/strong> section of the screen.<\/li>\n
          2. Click on the SKU\u00a0<\/strong>in the\u00a0Select a Product<\/strong>\u00a0section.<\/li>\n
          3. Click the\u00a0[OK – Use Selected Item<\/strong>]\u00a0button.<\/li>\n
          4. The\u00a0Change SKU<\/i>\u00a0screen appears with the SKU we selected in the\u00a0Select SKU to Modify<\/strong>\u00a0pane.<\/li>\n
          5. Click the\u00a0[Add to list<\/strong>]\u00a0button to move it to the list in the right-hand pane.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Click the cell in the same row as the selected SKU under the New SKU<\/strong> column.<\/li>\n
            2. Enter the replacement SKU.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              1. Click the\u00a0[Test SKUs<\/strong>]\u00a0button to check for possible errors.<\/li>\n
              2. \n

                If that is all of your changes, you would then click the\u00a0[Make Changes<\/strong>]\u00a0button; however, we are going to continue with another example of how to select a single SKU.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Method 2 – Using the “SKUs ” Buttons<\/h3>\n

                Let’s assume that we also want to change the SKU of an inventory item that starts with the letter “W”.<\/p>\n

                  \n
                1. Click the button labeled “W<\/strong>” in the\u00a0SKUs\u00a0<\/strong>section.<\/li>\n
                2. The\u00a0Select SKU to Modify<\/strong> pane now contains a list of all SKUs that start with the letter “W”.<\/li>\n
                3. Select a SKU from the list and click the\u00a0[Add to List<\/strong>]\u00a0button move the right-hand pane.<\/li>\n
                4. Enter the replacement SKU in the cell to the right of the Original SKU<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  1. Click the\u00a0[Test SKUs<\/strong>]\u00a0button.<\/li>\n
                  2. If there are no errors, click the\u00a0[Make Changes<\/strong>]\u00a0button to execute the changes to all of the records in the right-hand pane.<\/li>\n
                  3. The program will prompt for confirmation before making the changes.<\/li>\n
                  4. Click\u00a0[OK<\/strong>]\u00a0to proceed with the changes or\u00a0[Cancel<\/strong>]\u00a0to abandon the changes.<\/li>\n
                  5. Click\u00a0[OK<\/strong>]\u00a0again to acknowledge the completion of the process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
