Enter or Import Tracking Information for \u00a0Drop-Ship Purchase Orders<\/h2>\n

The Drop-Ship Tracking<\/strong> button at the top of the Purchase Orders<\/strong> screen opens a screen that enables you to build a list of drop-shipped line items and fill in the tracking numbers for them. You can manually enter tracking numbers for your drop-ship orders or import them from a text file. When you are finished, select Post Data<\/strong> to save the data.<\/p>\n

Manually Enter Tracking Information<\/h3>\n

    Go to\u00a0Main Menu>Manage My Inventory>Manage My Purchase Orders>Drop-Ship Tracking>Add Tracking Numbers<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. The system displays the\u00a0Drop-Ship Tracking<\/strong>\u00a0screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Drop-Ship Tracking screen<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      1. To add the line items from a single drop-ship purchase order to the list displayed at the bottom of the screen, fill in the PO\u00a0Number<\/strong>\u00a0field and press\u00a0Tab\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. To add the drop-shipped line items from one\u00a0SEOM<\/span>\u00a0order to the list, fill in the\u00a0Order Number<\/strong>\u00a0field and press\u00a0Tab\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. To add all open drop-ship orders for a specific supplier to the list, select\u00a0a\u00a0Supplier<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      4. Once you have created the list, you can enter a\u00a0Tracking Number<\/strong>, Date Shipped,<\/strong> and select Update All<\/strong> to add that information to all line items in the list, or you can type or copy and paste tracking numbers and dates into the Tracking #<\/strong> and Date Shipped<\/strong> fields of individual purchase orders in the list.<\/li>\n
      5. Select\u00a0Post Data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Import from a Text File<\/h3>\n

          Go to one of the following locations to import tracking data from a text file:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Main Menu>Manage My Inventory>Manage My Purchase Orders>Drop-Ship Tracking>Add Tracking Numbers>Import Tracking Data<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

          Main Menu>Settings>Shipping Functions>Import .csv Tracking Numbers<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

          1. The system displays the\u00a0Drop-Ship Tracking<\/strong>\u00a0screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Import Tracking Data screen<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

              \n
            1. This screen is used for importing tracking numbers for drop-ship orders and tracking numbers for orders you ship. Make sure that the Import tracking<\/strong> is set to Drop-Ship POs<\/strong>\u00a0before continuing.<\/li>\n
            2. Select the\u00a0Folder\u00a0<\/strong>icon to navigate to the text file with the tracking information.<\/li>\n
            3. Choose the appropriate\u00a0Field Delimiter<\/strong>\u00a0settings or enter a non-standard delimiter in\u00a0Other<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
            4. Select\u00a0First row contains field name<\/strong>\u00a0if the\u00a0first line of the text file contains a header record with field names.<\/li>\n
            5. When importing drop-ship tracking information, always select\u00a0Drop-Ship PO Number\u00a0<\/strong>as the setting for\u00a0Link Field<\/strong>\u00a0so that\u00a0SEOM<\/span>\u00a0can match the imported tracking information to your PO records.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              IMPORTANT<\/strong>:\u00a0Drop-Ship tracking numbers MUST be accompanied by the Drop-Ship PO Number for the system to properly update the PO and the Order!<\/p>\n

                \n
              1. Use the field name drop-down lists to map\u00a0the information in the text file to the fields in\u00a0SEOM<\/span>. (Order #<\/strong>,\u00a0Tracking Number<\/strong>, etc.)<\/li>\n
              2. It is recommended that you\u00a0Test Data<\/strong>\u00a0before you import. The system displays a sample record built from the selected data file and import criteria.<\/li>\n
              3. When you are sure that the import options are correctly configured, select Run Import<\/strong>. The system records the drop-ship tracking information from the text file in your purchase order records.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
