You can use almost any text, such as Paid, \u00a0Approved, Item Backordered, however, it is recommended to keep labels short (less than 50 characters). Do not use single ( &#8216; ) and double ( &#8221; ) quotes.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the default system status event labels, refer to the\u00a0<i>Knowledge Base<\/i>\u00a0topic, \u00a0<i>Status Events<\/i>.<\/p>\n<h2>Adding Status Labels<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p\">Go to\u00a0<strong><i>Main Menu &gt; Settings &gt; Data Functions &gt; List Maintenance<\/i><\/strong><i>.<\/i><\/li>\n<li class=\"p\">Select <strong>Status<\/strong> in <strong>Select List<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p\">The default list of entries provided with the program are displayed in\u00a0<strong>List Entries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p\">To add a new entry to the list of acceptable order statuses, click in the text field labeled\u00a0<strong>Status<\/strong>, at the bottom of the screen, and type in the desired value. The figure below shows &#8220;Payment Expected&#8221; will be added. Notice in\u00a0<strong>List Entries<\/strong>\u00a0that the status does not currently exist.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"Image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1136\" src=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/createstatuslabelsimage4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"402\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li class=\"p\">Click\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: medium;\">or<\/span>\u00a0press the\u00a0<strong>Enter<\/strong>\u00a0key twice to add &#8220;<strong>Payment Expected<\/strong>&#8221; to\u00a0<strong>List Entries<\/strong>. Doing so also returns the cursor to the\u00a0<strong>Status\u00a0<\/strong>text field where you can continue to add other status labels.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p\">Repeat steps 4 and 5 to add as many status labels as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"Image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1138\" src=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/createstatuslabelsimage3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"397\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Deleting Status Labels<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p\">Select the status to delete in\u00a0<strong>List Entries<\/strong>. The figure below shows that status label &#8220;<strong>Payment Expected<\/strong>&#8220;, which was added in the previous example, will be deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"Image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1139\" src=\"https:\/\/stoneedge.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/createstatuslabelsimage2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"532\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Remove<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The program prompts for confirmation.
