Method One<\/h3>\n

  1. Add line items. There are five ways to add line items:\n
      \n
    1. Select items on the Hot Keys<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
    2. Scan the barcode <\/strong>on the item.<\/li>\n
    3. Type a SKU in the SKU<\/strong> field and press Enter<\/strong> on the keyboard.<\/li>\n
    4. Type a barcode in the\u00a0Barcode\u00a0<\/strong>field and press\u00a0Enter\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0Tab\u00a0<\/strong>on the keyboard.<\/li>\n
    5. Perform a product search by clicking\u00a0Prod. Lookup<\/strong>\u00a0or pressing the\u00a0F6\u00a0<\/strong>key on the keyboard.<\/li>\n
    6. Click\u00a0Cust. Lookup<\/strong>\u00a0and add customer data to the order.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    7. Enter payment.\n
        \n
      1. Select the\u00a0Keypad<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n
      2. Select\u00a0Other<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Select PO<\/strong>. The\u00a0Process Payment\u00a0<\/strong>dialog box opens:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            \n
          1. Enter the purchase order number. Note<\/strong>: If you wish, you can enter the terms of the PO in the Notes text box.<\/li>\n
          2. \n
              \n
            1. To store the amount of the purchase order and the purchase order number – without applying the amount of the purchase order towards the balance due – select\u00a0Store PO Data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
            2. If the customer is paying a partial amount of the balance due, enter the amount and select\u00a0Log Payment<\/strong>. \u00a0Note<\/strong>:\u00a0After payment is applied to the order, the PO payment method is replaced by the new payment method and the purchase order details are lost.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              1. The sale is complete; give the receipt to the customer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Method Two<\/h3>\n

                    8. Enter the purchase order number in the\u00a0PO number<\/strong>\u00a0field.<\/li>\n
                    9. Select the purchase order terms from the\u00a0PO Terms<\/strong>\u00a0drop down list. Terms must already be defined through the List Maintenance feature.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
