  1. Add line items. There are five ways to add line items:\n

    1. Select items on the Hot Keys<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
    2. Scan the barcode<\/strong> on the item.<\/li>\n
    3. Type a SKU in the SKU<\/strong> field and press Enter<\/strong> on the keyboard.<\/li>\n
    4. Type a barcode in the\u00a0Barcode<\/strong>\u00a0field and press\u00a0Enter<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Tab<\/strong>\u00a0on the keyboard.<\/li>\n
    5. Perform a product search by clicking\u00a0Prod. Lookup<\/strong> or pressing the F6<\/strong> key on the keyboard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    6. Select\u00a0Special Order<\/strong>\u00a0or press\u00a0F7\u00a0<\/strong>on the keyboard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Click\u00a0Layaway<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. The\u00a0Order is Layaway?<\/strong>\u00a0confirmation message box opens. Click\u00a0Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. If the order does not meet the minimum layaway amount, the program displays a message to that effect. Click\u00a0OK\u00a0<\/strong>and do one of the following:\n
            \n
          1. add more items to the sale<\/li>\n
          2. place the transaction on hold \u00a0(Hold Order<\/strong> function key, or F3<\/strong> on the keyboard)<\/li>\n
          3. cancel the transaction (Void Clear<\/strong> function button or F9<\/strong> on the keyboard)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          4. Optional: Enter a partial payment.\n

            1. Select the\u00a0Keypad<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n
            2. Enter payment.<\/li>\n
            3. The\u00a0Add additional payment?<\/strong>\u00a0dialog box opens.<\/li>\n
            4. Click\u00a0No\u00a0<\/strong>to save the order and enter a new transaction.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
