How to Place a POS Order Paid by Cash<\/h3>\n

  1. Add line items. There are five ways to add line items:\n
      \n
    • Select items on the Hot Keys<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
    • Scan the barcode of the item.<\/li>\n
    • Type a SKU<\/strong> in the SKU field and press Enter<\/strong> on the keyboard.<\/li>\n
    • Type a barcode in the\u00a0Barcode\u00a0<\/strong>field and press\u00a0Enter\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0Tab\u00a0<\/strong>on the keyboard.<\/li>\n
    • Perform a product search by clicking on the\u00a0Prod. Lookup<\/strong>\u00a0button or pressing the\u00a0F6\u00a0<\/strong>key on the keyboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Enter payment.\n
        \n
      1. Select the\u00a0Key Pad<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n
      2. Enter the amount received. Note: The cursor cannot be in any text field on the POS screen if you wish to use the keypad on your keyboard to enter the amount received.<\/li>\n
      3. Select\u00a0Cash<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Give the customer any change due and the receipt. The program clears the information for the current order from the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. If the printer menu has not been disabled, select the device to print the receipt.<\/li>\n
          2. You can now start another POS sale (order) by adding products, payment, and optionally, customer information.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
