Overview

The following are the instructions to create API credentials within your BigCommerce store to allow you to integrate the Stone Edge Order Manager using the Connect2Cart service. This integration uses the BigCommerce API to access the order data and inventory.

Get BigCommerce API Credentials

Login into the Big Commerce Dashboard as the store owner.
Click “Settings.”
Scroll to the bottom of the Page to “API.”
Click “Store-level API accounts.”
Select “Create API Account.”
Give The Settings:
1. Token Type: V2/V3 API token.
2. Name something to identify the API account.
3. API path: given by BigCommerce.
  NOTE: record the “Store Hash Key” found where the * are: /stores/*******/v3/
Give the following access rights:
1. Content: read-only
2. Checkout content: modify
3. Customers: modify
4. Customers login: None
5. Information & Settings: None
6. Marketing: None
7. Orders: modify
8. Order transactions: modify
9. Create payments: None
10. Get payment methods: None
11. Stored Payment instruments: None
12. Products: modify
13. Themes: None
14. Carts: modify
15. Checkouts: modify
16. Sites & routes: None
17. Channel Settings: None
18. Channel Listings: None
19. Storefront API tokens: None
20. Storefront API customer impersonation tokens: None
21. Store logs: None
22. Store Locations: read-only
23. Store Inventory: modify
24. Fulfillment Methods: modify
25. Order Fulfillment: modify
Click “Save”
A popup will appear with the following:
1. Client ID
2. Client secret
3. Access token
Click “Done” after saving the information.
NOTE: It is not possible to get the information again, so make sure to save a copy of the information!
The API account will appear in your list!
Send the API information and Hash Key from step 6 to Stone Edge sales@stoneedge.com
