Can I use a Microsoft Access database with Version 8?
The store file must be an SQL database. The program files are still MS Access databases.
Do I have to buy SQL Server to use Version 8?
No, you can use SQL Express which is free from Microsoft. SQL Express does have limitations in database size and memory usage. Check the Microsoft website for details.
Is Version 8 PCI compliant?
Yes, Version 8 also uses the PA-DSS certified Monsoon Commerce Payment Module for processing credit and debit transactions.
