POS Customer-Based Pricing

1. Select to "left-click" the mouse on an object, usually a row in a table, in the context of Monsoon OMS documentation Cust. Lookup or press F5 on the keyboard. The Customer Entry screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI) opens.

2. Enter new customer information or select Search and find an existing customer record.

3. Select the correct price level the various prices at which the same product may be sold, such as wholesale, retail, club, etc. to use for this customer from the drop-down list. Price levels must first be defined by the user. Refer to system parameters settings in Stone Edge that enable users to configure the program integrate with their business operations. Stone Edge includes hundreds of System Parameters to do just that. To change a system parameter, go to the Main Menu > Settings > System Functions > Set System Parameters. UseMultiLevelPricing,  PricingLevel1Name - PricingLevel10Name, and POSShowPriceLevels.

4. Click Save.

5. Add line items. There are five ways to add line items:

   1. Select items on the Hot Keys tab.

   2. Scan the barcode on the item.

   3. Type a SKU the abbreviation for Stock Keeping Unit; a unique identifier used to track product inventory in the SKU field and press Enter on the keyboard.

   4. Type a barcode in the Barcode field and press Enter or Tab on the keyboard.

   5. Perform a product search by clicking Prod. Lookup or by pressing the F6 key on the keyboard.

6. Enter payment.

   1. Select the Key Pad tab.

   2. Open the Pay Module, enter  the appropriate payment information and complete the sale.

7. Give the receipt to the customer.
