Accounting Export Preview

Overview

• The Accounting Export Preview screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI) allows the user to view data before it is exported to QuickBooks.

• It is opened by selecting Preview any new accounting data or Preview selected batch of data from I would like to  on the Accounting Data Export screen. Main Menu > Settings > Data Functions > Export Accounting Data  

Description of the Screen

TRNS Column

• displays the transaction

TRNSTYPE Column

• displays the description of the transaction

DATE Column

• displays the date of the transaction

ACCNT Column

• displays the name of the account to which the transaction applies

Amount Column

• displays the amount of the transaction
• negative amounts are in parentheses

MEMO Column

• displays the type of credit card associated with Deposits or additional information about General Journal entries, etc.

Run Export Button

• starts the export process

Print Button

• send the data being previewed to the default printer of the local workstation

Close Button

• exits the Accounting Export Preview screen
