Overview

• Endicia DAZzle is one of OMS 's internally integrated third-party shipping applications used to print USPS shipping labels.

• The user can configure OMS to print USPS labels through DAZzle in batch mode rather than an order by order basis.

  system parameter DAZzleUseBatch = TRUE

• As orders with USPS shipping methods are approved, their shipping labels are added to the DAZzle Batch Queue.

• Shipping labels can also be manually added to the DAZzle Batch at the Process Orders or Multi-Order Processor screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI).

• The labels stay in the queue until the user is ready to send the information to DAZzle and subsequently print the label.

• It is possible to make changes to some of the shipment details at this screen before sending the data to DAZzle.

• The tracking number is immediately stored in the OMS order.    

Description of the Screen

Fields and Controls on the DAZzle Batch Screen

Send Batch to DAZzle Button

• select this button when any changes have been made at this screen and the user is ready to send the shipping information to DAZzle to print shipping labels

Include International Shipments Check Box

• select this check box to have orders that specify an international shipping address included in the batch that is sent to DAZzle for label printing

Print Selected Order Button

• sends order information to DAZzle for the currently selected order ONLY

Cancel Button

• exit the DAZzle Batch Review screen without sending any shipping data to DAZzle; respond OK to proceed

Delete Button

• the currently selected order is skipped when the data from this batch is sent to DAZzle; it does not delete the order from the display or from OMS

Select All Button

• marks all of the orders in the list as selected when sending shipping data to DAZzle

Clear All Button

• deselect all orders in the list

Subtract boxes from inventory Check Box

• check this check box if boxes are defined as inventory items within OMS and their QOH should be decremented accordingly

• provides an explanation of many of the USPS-related column headings (fields) that appear in the DAZzle Batch Review screen

Fields in the Data Sheet Section of the Screen

Order # Column

• indicates the number assigned to the order by OMS

Cancel Column

• orders which have this column checked will be skipped when sending shipping information to DAZzle

Shipping Method Column

• indicates the name of the shipping method associated with the order (as defined in OMS )

Package Type

• reflects the type of package in which the shipment will be sent, such as envelope, flat rate box, etc.

• a default package type can be set via system parameter, USPSDefaultPackageType

•  the package weight if pounds is the unit of choice

ozs

• the package weight if ounces is the unit of choice

Express Premium

• indicates that this service is being used

Insurance

• reflects the amount for which the package is insured by Endicia; this does not reflect insurance purchased via U-PIC

Value

• represents the Declared Value of the package, if one is provided

• required field for international shipments

COD

• if checked, this field indicates that cash is to be paid upon delivery of the package

COD Amt

• represents the precise amount that should be collected upon delivery of the package

Bal. Due

• displays the amount of the order total that has not yet been paid

Name

• the name of the recipient of the package

Company

• if applicable, this field will contain the company to which the package is being delivered

Address 1

• the street address where the package is to be delivered

Address 2

• any additional address information that is needed to deliver the package to the proper destination

City

• the city in which the package is to be delivered

State

• the state in which the package is to be delivered

Zip

• the zip code in which the package is to be delivered

Country

• the country in which the package is to be delivered

Box

• the SKU of the packaging materials in OMS

Length

• one of the dimensions of the packaging materials

Width

• one of the dimensions of the packaging materials

Depth

• one of the dimensions of the packaging materials

• the name of the signer
