View Previous Transactions

Overview

• The Previous Transactions screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI) is opened by the View Previous Transactions link on the Payment tab of the Process Orders screen.

• The  View Previous Transactions link is only visible if the user has not yet made a selection in the system parameter CreditCardProcessor.

• This screen displays any stored transactions for the currently viewed order.

Description of the Screen

Date Column

• the date the transaction occurred

Description Column

• displays a brief description of the type of transaction itself, such as:

• • Initial credit card charges

  • Change Returned - only applies to Point of Sale orders;will have "Logged" as the State of the payment

  • Credit Card Charged

  • Credit Issued

  • Payment Received

  • Payment Applied at View Customers - will have "Logged" as the State of the payment

  • Payment Received at Manual Orders -will have "Logged" as the State of the payment

  • Store Credit Issued - will have "Logged" as the State of the payment

  • QBMerchant Sale - the payment was processed via QuickBooks Merchant Services payment gateway

  • PayPal Payment - indicates that this order was paid for with funds from a PayPal account, where funds are not obtained immediately; the user should confirm the receipt of these funds

Amount Column

• indicates the amount, in dollars and cents, that was processed as part of the transaction

Type Column

• displays the payment type, such as Credit Card, Check, etc.

Acct. # Column

• displays the credit card account used for the transaction

Exp. Date Column

• displays the expiration date of the credit card used for the selected transaction

Name on Card Column

• the name of the credit card holder

Bank Name Column

• the name of the financial institution that issued the credit account

Notes Column

• displays any notes electronic records, for internal use only, that contain additional details about program events, actions or customer information that are stored with order, customer, inventory and supplier records. Notes can be entered manually by the user or automatically entered by the program, based on parameter settings in some cases. that were recorded for the transaction

Approval Code Column

• displays the code provided by the payment gateway when the authorization occurred

Order # Column

• displays the SEOM order number

AVS Column

• the response from the Address Verification System to confirm the identity of the owner of the credit card

CVV2 Column

• displays the Card Verification Value associated with the credit card or debit card transactions, providing increased protection against credit card fraud
