If you use Skipjack to process credit card transactions, the SEOM can interface directly with your Skipjack account.
Payments for orders that are pre-authorized on your website can be captured when you approve those orders in SEOM.
The Payment tab of the Process Orders screen allows you to process new charges, credits, etc. without re-typing the customer’s credit card information.
Go to the Main Menu > Settings > System Functions > Set System Parameters. The Set System Parameters dialog box opens.
Select the Credit Card parameter group.
Set CreditCardProcessor to Skipjack.
Click Save.
Select parameter SkipjackSerialNumber to the HTML Serial Number provided to you by Skipjack.
Click Save.
Select Set SkipjackTestMode to TRUE while you are setting up and testing the system. You also need a Developer Serial Number to enter in the SkipjackSerialNumber parameter (see Additional Details below). Set SkipjackTestMode to FALSE when you are ready to begin processing real transactions.
Click Save.
Set Order group parameter WebTransactionType to Pre-Authorize or Sale depending where credit card payments are captured, at the shopping cart or in SEOM.
Sale - if payment is captured at the Web store
Pre-Authorize - if payment is captured through SEOM
Click Save.
We strongly recommend that you establish a Manual Settlement Account with Skipjack. . The Payment tab has a check box labeled Force Batch Settlement that allows you to signal to Skipjack to "settle" all captured transactions. This option should be checked prior to transmitting the last transaction in a batch for the day. Skipjack forces the settlement after processing the transaction. You can also go directly to Skipjack and do your Batch settlement there.
If you have an Automatic Settlement Account, all Authorizations are "captured" and settled daily (based on settings in your user account with Skipjack). However, with the Automatic Settlement Account, SEOM does NOT receive the transaction ID from the settlement of a pre-authorization, so you cannot issue credits against them in SEOM.
If running in "developer test mode" special data must be used for address and card data to receive responses from the site. See Skipjack's website (http://skipjack.com/resources/integrationguide/#t5.0) for details.
