Overview

• ShipWire is an eCommerce Order Fulfillment the process of picking, packing, printing and affixing shipping labels, and shipping orders to customers. Service used by merchants to outsource the shipping portion of their business.

Configuring SEOM to Use ShipWire

1. To use Shipwire fulfillment services in conjunction with SEOM, the user must create a fulfillment center definition.

   1. Go to the Main Menu>Settings>Shipping Functions>Fulfillment.

1. 2. Click on, or tab to, an empty row in the list.   

   3. Enter Shipwire in both the Code and Name fields, as shown in the figure above.

   4. It is not necessary to create a Fulfillment (Center Export) Template or complete any other fields on this screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI).

2. Once the Shipwire fulfillment center has been defined, it can be assigned to:

   • individual products at the Inventory screen; select to "left-click" the mouse on an object, usually a row in a table, in the context of Monsoon OMS documentation it from the Fulfillment Center drop-down list, as shown below

• an entire Inventory Category via the List Maintenance feature; select it from the Fulfillment Centers drop-down list

1. • all products, by selecting the "Shipwire" fulfillment center from the drop-down list for system parameter, DefaultFulfillmentCenter, shown below

3. Enter the appropriate values provided by Shipwire into the following Order Manager system parameters settings in Stone Edge that enable users to configure the program integrate with their business operations. Stone Edge includes hundreds of System Parameters to do just that. To change a system parameter, go to the Main Menu > Settings > System Functions > Set System Parameters.:

1. • ShipWireEmail

   • ShipWirePassword

   • ShipWireServer

   • ShipWireWarehouse

   • A new parameter, ShipWireDomain, was introduced in SEOM V5.918, and it should be set to API.ShipWire.com.

4. Done! When an order is approved, the data will be automatically sent to Shipwire's API (application programming interface).

How to Stop Using Shipwire

1. Remove the fulfillment center selection from the appropriate location in the program, depending on the way it was initially set up. Refer to Step 2 in the previous section, Configuring the Order Manager to Use Shipwire.
2. For instance, if Shipwire is configured at the product level, remove Shipwire as the Fulfillment Center selection in that product's inventory record.
