Overview

The Print Shipping Label screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI) is opened by the Print Shipping Label button on the Process Orders>Shipping tab>Shipping and Tracking tab when ShipRush is the shipping system for an integrated shipping carrier (FedEx, UPS or USPS).

Description of the Screen

Shipping Method Drop-down List

• if a shipping method has already been assigned to the order it appears here

• to change the existing shipping method, choose another method from the drop-down list

Pack Drop-down List

• select to "left-click" the mouse on an object, usually a row in a table, in the context of Monsoon OMS documentation a shipping carrier's package type

COD $ Field

• enter a Cash on Delivery value or use the [Set] button to enter the current balance due as the COD amount

Set Button

• click this button to set the COD value of the order to its balance due

Declared Value Field

• enter the value of the package for customs purposes

Weight Field

• if an electronic scale is in use and the package is on the scale, this field displays the actual weight of the items and the packaging materials

• if a scale is not used, this field contains the weight value that is set in the product's inventory record   

Scale Button

• if SEOM has been configured to use an electronic scale, this button and the Zero Scale buttons are visible

• when a package is placed on the scale, the program enters the value displayed on the scale in the Weight field

Zero Scale Button

• clears the previous weight reading from the scale and resets it to zero

• an electronic scale must be configured in SEOM for this button to be visible

Dimensions (in.) L Field

• if this information is provided in the product's inventory record, it is displayed here or it can be manually typed into these fields

Dimensions (in.) W Field

• if this information is provided in the product's inventory record, it is displayed here or it can be manually typed into these fields

Dimensions (in.) H Field

• if this information is provided in the product's inventory record, it is displayed here or it can be manually typed into these fields

Box Drop-down List

• if the user has defined one or more boxes as inventory items, they are listed in this drop-down list; if the box definition contains dimensions, they are populated in the Size (inches) field

• choose the box used to ship the items from the drop-down list

• this list of boxes is not related to any shipping carrier's box or package types

Set Ship Date To Field

• manually type in a date or click the Calendar button and select the date on which the package is considered to be "shipped"

Calendar Button

• this button open the Select a Date screen, which can be used to set the Ship Date for the order

Desc of Goods Field

• this field is primarily for customs purposes (international shipments)

• system parameter DefaultDescriptionofGoods can be used to set a default value for this field

• Residential? Check Box

• if the package is being sent to a residential address as opposed to a business address, check this box

Have Shipper Send Email? Check Box

• if carrier should send an email to the customer, check this box

Print Button

• prints a shipping label for the ShipRush integrated shipping software solution

Cancel Button

• exits the Print Shipping Label screen
