Setup Guide Sales Tax

Overview

This topic discusses the Sales Tax section of the SEOM Setup Guide that runs when the program is initially installed or when a new store file is created.

Sales Tax Screen

Delete Buttons

remove the adjacent sales tax rate from the system

State Drop-down List

select the state for which sales tax is collected

City Field

enter the name of a specific city or enter "any" without the quotes

Tax Rate Field

enter the percentage of the sales tax to be collected, up to three decimal places

Tax S & H? Check Box

select this box if shipping and handling is to be taxed

Previous Button

returns to the previous page in the Setup Guide

Next Button

continue to the subsequent step in the Setup Guide

Close Button

exit the Setup Guide
