Overview

• The Post Stack Viewer screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI) is part of the program's Stack Controller the Stack Controller is a component of the program that is in charge of sending "posts," such as email, order status, and inventory updates from Monsoon OMS to various destinations. It can be configured to run on each PC that uses OMS (local - default setting), or it can be configured to run only on a single workstation in the complex (shared),, which is in charge of sending "posts," such as email, order status, and inventory updates from SEOM to an external destinations, such as the Order Status System or a shopping cart an e-commerce software system that allows a retailer to sell products on the Web. In the context of Monsoon OMS, it refers to the settings that describe a merchant's web store to the program, allowing it communicate with the online shopping cart and import orders and other information system.

• This screen is accessed by the key combination CTRL+Shift+S, and displays a list of records currently on the stack as well as a list of any errors encountered.

Description of the Screen

Website Updates Tab

Refresh Button

• clears deleted or successfully sent records from the display

Send Now Button

• click this button to start sending records on the stack in the event the process was stopped for some reason

Delete Failed Posts Button

• if a record gets hung up on the stack and has exceeded the number of retries, click this button to remove it from the queue and allow other records to be sent

List of Records on the Stack

Created Column

• the date and time the record was added to the stack

Attempts Column

• the number of times the program has attempted to send the record

Last Response Column

• contains data from the receiving site which is helpful for troubleshooting problems

Data Column

• the order status or QOH update information being passed to the service or shopping cart

Created By Column

• the name of the workstation or server that created the record on the stack

Server Column

• the IP address of the workstation or server sending the update

Page Column

• the target Web page to receive the update information

Secure Column

• indicates whether the connection is secure; Yes or No

UN Column

• the user name needed to connect to the service or shopping cart receiving the updates

PW Column

• the password associated with the user name in the UN column

Sent Column

• the time and date the record was sent to its destination

Sent By Column

• the name of the workstation at which the record originated

Error Log Tab

Refresh Button

• clears deleted or successfully sent records from the display

Send Now Button

• click this button to start sending records on the stack in the event the process was stopped for some reason

Clear Errors Button

• removes all error records from the table

List of Error Records

What Column

• description of the error condition

Where Column

• the program location from which the record was sent

When Column

• the date and time the record was sent

Details Column

• contains detailed information about the record, such as the destination URL, type of record, UN/PW, Attempts, etc.
• drag the right-most border of the column to expand the size of the column and see more information

Help Button

• opens the Knowledge Base topic, The Stack Controller

Close Button

• exits the Post Stack Viewer screen
