Inventory: Web & Custom Fields

Use the Next Topic and Previous Topic arrows, and , in the Navigation Pane of the Knowledge Base to move sequentially through the topics explaining the Inventory screen. (The buttons are actually white on the black background of the Navigation Pane.)

Overview

The Inventory: Web & Custom Fields screen is historically where image data imported from a Yahoo! shopping cart systems is stored, however, the information in the Thumbnail, Image, Header, Footer, Path, Headline, Availability and Contents fields can be used to store image data for other shopping cart systems as well.
Check boxes on this screen control whether the product record is synchronized with certain shopping cart systems.
Fields required by Monsoon Commerce shopping carts are also found on this screen.
If the user has defined custom inventory fields, they will be displayed here.
To make a change to an inventory record, you must first click the [Edit] button in the upper-right hand corner of the screen.

This screen is accessed by going to:

Inventory: Web & Custom Fields

Thumbnail Field

contains the path to the thumbnail image of the product
used by Shop.com and Yahoo! shopping cart systems

View in Browser Button

opens a browser window to display the Thumbnail image of the product

Image Field

specifies the path to the image file of the product
inventory field originally provided to import Yahoo!'s Image field into SEOM; also used by Shop.com
refer to Knowledge Base topic, Displaying Images for more information about using this field

View in Browser Button

opens a browser window to display the product image specified in the Image field

Header (Caption) Field

inventory field originally provided to hold Yahoo!'s Caption field
also used by Shop.com product export

Footer Field

the value in this field is included in the product export to Shop.com

Path Field

path to the location of an image file

Headline Field

formerly used by Froogle

Availability Field

inventory field originally provided to import product data from Yahoo!

Contents Field

repository for the contents of the field of the same name in the Yahoo! product export

Check Boxes to Control Data Exchange with Certain Shopping Carts

Ignore QOH on Websites

if this field is checked no QOH values for this item will be sent to any Web sites
affects both Manual and Real-Time Inventory synchronization processes

Don't sell thru Shop.com

if this field is checked SEOM will not upload this item to Shop.com, when the [Export Shop.com Product List] button on the Shopping Cart Functions page is clicked

Don't sync with Amazon

if this field is checked the program will not include this item when sending an inventory feed to Amazon

Don't sync with Yahoo

if this field is checked, the program will not include this item when sending inventory synchronization information to Yahoo!

Fields for Monsoon Commerce

These fields were added in V5.922 to support integration with the Monsoon Shopping Cart systems.

Don't sell thru Monsoon Check Box - click this box to make this inventory item unavailable on a Monsoon Web site.

ISBN International Standard Book Number Field - International Standard Book Number
ASIN Amazon Standard Indentification Number Field - Amazon Standard Identification Number
UPC Universal Product Code Field - Universal Product Code
EAN European Article Number; see IAN Field - International Article Number (formerly European Article Number)
MAP Field - Minimum Advertised Price, applies only to items in Consumer Goods categories and listed on Amazon Seller Central Market
Profit % Field - profit percentage to target

Custom Fields

This label is only seen if the user has defined any of the available custom inventory fields.
