Inventory Adjustments

Overview

• The Inventory Adjustments screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI) shows all of the manual changes made to the Quantity on Hand of a given product. This requires that system parameter TrackInventoryAdjustments is set to TRUE. The Inventory Adjustments report is then also available.

• The date the change was made, the value of the change, the reason for the adjustment and the user that made the change are included in the display.  

• To access the Inventory Adjustments screen go to:

Main Menu>Accordion>Manage My Inventory>View & Manage My Inventory>Item>View Adjustments

Description of the Inventory Adjustments Screen

Date Range: Section

From: Field

• enter a starting date from which records are displayed at the bottom of the screen

Thru: Field

• enter an ending date through which records are displayed at the bottom of the screen

Calendar Button

• put the cursor in one of the date fields and click this button to use the Select to "left-click" the mouse on an object, usually a row in a table, in the context of Monsoon OMS documentation Date screen to enter a date

AZ and ZA Buttons

• click one of these buttons to sort the records in ascending or descending order by the Date column

Net Change Field

• shows the sum of all of the changes made to the QOH of the item

Datasheet Section

Date Column

• shows the date the change was made

Change Column

• shows the value entered in the Quantity to Add or Quantity to Subtract fields of the Adjust Inventory screen

• or the delta if a value is entered in the Final Quantity field rather than the Quantity to Add or Quantity to Subtract fields

Unit Cost Column

• displays a change made to the unit cost

Reason Column

• contains the reason chosen by the user who made the change, selected from the Reason for Adjustments drop-down lists on the Adjust Inventory screen

User Column

• contains the name of the user that made the change to the item's QOH

Close Button

• this button closes the Inventory Adjustments screen
