Pay Data for Order #xxxx

Overview

• The Pay Data for Order #xxxx screen synonymous with the Microsoft Access Form object or graphical user interface (GUI) is opened by the View Payment Info link in the Payment tab of the Process Orders screen.

Main Menu > Process My Orders > View and Process My Orders > Payment tab > View Payment Info link

• The data displayed on this screen depends on the kind of payment executed, such as credit card, check, echeck, cash, etc. Refer to the Knowledge Base topic, Process Orders: Payment, for more information about the specific fields applicable to each payment type.

Description of the Screen

Payment Method List

• display all of the payment methods currently defined in SEOM

Edit Button

• click this button to make changes to the other fields on this screen
• this button is labeled Save when the screen is opened for editing

Save Button

• the label of this button is a misnomer as it does not actually make the changes to the transaction, but locks the screen so that it can no longer be edited
• when the Save button is clicked, the Lookup data from previous orders link becomes visible

Lookup data from previous orders Link

• click this link to look up a customer's payment information from previous orders
• select to "left-click" the mouse on an object, usually a row in a table, in the context of Monsoon OMS documentation an order and overwrite the payment information currently on the order with the payment information in the selected order

  

  

Cancel Button

• click this button to undo the changes made before the Save button is clicked  

Fields Specific to Various Payment Methods

• the right-hand side of this screen displays fields applicable to the selected, or current, payment method
• review the Process Orders: Payment topic for more information about specific fields

OK Button

• click this button to make the changes to the payment transaction and exit the Pay Data for Order #xxxx screen

Close Button

• click this button to exit the Pay Data for Order #xxxx screen without making any changes
