Regardless of the version of XCart that is being used, be sure to install the latest integration script, which can be obtained at the download gateway. Refer to Installing the Export Script in your XCart Store for more information.
XCart merchants may encounter difficulty importing orders if the account with which they setup their shopping cart in the Order Manager does not have administrative rights to their XCart store. An account in XCart with administrative rights is called a "provider" account. A non-provider account fails because it doesn't have the necessary permissions to read the store files.
If you suspect that your issue is the result of not providing a provider account at the shopping cart setup, create a new provider account in XCart. Enter the username and password on the Create/Edit Shopping Carts screen.
You may also want to double-check the Script URL on the Create/Edit Shopping Carts screen and review how to import orders from your XCart shopping cart.
