ShopSite users running ShopSite version 6.3 or higher, and using the direct XML order import process, can import data from the custom fields that are part of your checkout forms into the Order Manager, along with the standard order information.
The Order Manager is able to import the data from ShopSite custom fields as long as the field names match exactly in the Order Manager, and the field types are compatible. For example, to import a custom date field from ShopSite, the corresponding custom field in the Order Manager must also be defined as a date field or the data transfer will not work.
The Order Manager supports up to a total of 40 custom fields to be defined for such purposes, in the Order and Order Detail categories. Each category can have up to five text, five date, five currency and five integer (whole number) fields. Refer to the Knowledge Base topic, Configuring Custom Fields for instructions.
