Updating Order Status with Shop.com

10/31/13: Shop.com is now a Marketplace environment. All orders are now paid in full at the Marketplace. At this time, Stone Edge is unable to process refunds through Shop.com, and order status updates for Returns and Exchanges (with or without an RMA) are also affected. Until that functionality is completed in Stone Edge, you must process refunds through Shop.com and manually log the credit in Stone Edge. You should still create returns and exchanges (with or without an RMA) in Stone Edge to keep your inventory count up to date, but the order/item status must also be manually adjusted at Shop.com.   

Altura supports sending order cancellations and package tracking information to merchants' websites. To configure Stone Edge properly, you must set five system parameters. Once these parameters are configured and the proper setup has been performed on the merchant's website, customers can look up the status of their orders.

 

AlturaSendConfirmations

 

Set this parameter to True. The program will send receipt, shipping and cancellation notifications to the Shop.com status system.

 

AlturaSendShippingNotifications

 

Specify an action that will trigger the program to send shipping confirmation notifications to the Shop.com status system. The choices are Approving the Order, Setting the Actual Ship Date, or Adding the Tracking Number. Note: AlturaSendConfirmations must be set to True to use this feature.

 

AlturaFTPServer - Hidden Parameter

*Note: This parameter is set for you when you purchase the program and is hidden from view under normal circumstances. It should never be changed except by Stone Edge Technologies, Inc.

 

AlturaFTPUserName and AlturaFTPPassword

 

Enter the appropriate username and password for your website's FTP server to enable Stone Edge to upload shipment and cancellation information.

 

 

Important Notice about Shipping Method Names

The Shipping Methods used for Shop.com Orders in the Stone Edge MUST be one of the Shipping Methods in the Supported Shipping Methods list below.  If the Shipping Method is not found in the list then Shop.com will reject the Shipping Information.
