If you use Echo to process credit card transactions, the Order Manager can interface directly with your Echo account. Payments for orders that are pre-authorized on your Website can be captured automatically when you approve those orders in the Order Manager. The Credit Card Terminal tab at the View Orders screen allows you to process new charges, credits, etc. without re-typing the customer’s credit card information.
Click Here (http://www.echo-inc.com/echoapp.php?xecho=stoneedge) for information on the Echo payment gateway.
Click Save after setting each system parameter.
Go to the Maintenance Menu>Maintenance tab>Set System Parameters. The Set System Parameters dialog box opens.
Click on the Credit Card parameter group.
Set CreditCardProcessor to Echo-Inc.
Enter your Echo login ID and personal ID number for the EchoID and EchoPin parameters respectively. Note: You may have to contact Echo-Inc for your username and password.
**Important**: Set EchoTestMode to TRUE while you are setting up and testing the system. Set it to FALSE when you are ready to begin processing real transactions.
Set WebTransactionType to Pre-Authorize or Sale, depending on how you wish to process credit card transactions in your shopping cart.
The Echo payment gateway does not support "voiding" transactions, so the "Void" option at the CC Terminal in the Order Manager will not be visible. Use the "Credit" option instead.
The Echo Test Mode requires that you use valid credit card numbers. Test Authorizations may be placed on the card by the merchant account holder so remember to keep the Authorization amount small. Captures and sales will not be processed.
