The Order Manager began supporting order status updates to Volusion shopping carts with the Order Manager 5.8XX Beta series.
Note: The External Stack Controller (version 2.4.03 and lower) is not compatible with a Volusion shopping cart.
Volusion shopping carts do not require the use of system parameter, UseGenericStatusUpdates.
Volusion only accepts an order status of "Shipped".
Choose a status event that will trigger a status update to be sent to the shopping cart when the order status is changed to Shipped in the Order Manager. Check the Notify Cart box next to the appropriate status update. See Status Events for details.
Note: If you experience a status update failure, please check the Stack Controller for an error message. See Accessing the Stack Controller to learn how to open the Stack Viewer. On the Websites Updates tab, look for a message with "greater than 10" in the Attempts column and a description in the Last Response column. Contact Stone Edge Support if the Last Response field is blank or you can't resolve the error.
