Setting Up a CommerceV3 Cart

Initiating Integration in the CommerceV3 Administration Area

  1. On your CommerceV3 Dashboard, click Settings, then Options.

  1. In the Options list, scroll down and select Order Management Software.

  1. Select Order Manager from the drop-down list.

  1. Choose whether you would like the promo code to be exported as a coupon. Note: The promo code is passed in the XML in a custom field called "Promo Code" by default. The "Coupon" field is only used if Settings> Options> Order Manager> "Would you like the promo code to be exported as a Coupon?" is set to Yes.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the Submit button.

 

Setting Up the Shopping Cart in the Order Manager

  1. In the Order Manager, go to the Shopping Carts screen. You can access it from one of three ways:

    1. Quick Clicks> Setup Wizard> Shopping Carts tab> Create and Edit Shopping Carts button

    2. Main Menu> Maintenance Menu> Cart Functions tab> Create/Edit Shopping Carts option

    3. Main Menu> Maintenance Menu> Setup Functions tab> Store Setup Wizard> Shopping Carts tab> Create and Edit Shopping Carts button

  2. The Shopping Carts dialog box opens:

  3. Click Add Cart.

  4. In the Store Name field, enter a name you want to use for this shopping cart. This name is for use in the Order Manager only.

  5. Select CommerceV3 from the Cart Type drop-down list. If the user is only licensed for one shopping cart type the Cart Type drop-down box will not be visible. Go on to the next step.

  6. In the Cart ID/User Name field, enter the user name that you use to log into your CommerceV3 cart Administration Area.

  7. In the Cart Password field, enter the password that you use to log into your CommerceV3 cart Administration Area. Reenter you password.

  8. In the Store Code field, enter you CommerceV3 store name.

  9. Enter the following URL in the Script URL field: www.YOUR STORE.com/services/ordermanager/service.php

  1. If you are in the test environment, enter this URL in the Script URL field: Store.CommerceV3.com/services/ordermanager/service.php

(For the test environment, enter the script exactly as shown above. Do not replace the word "Store" with your store name.)

Note: You do not need to include http:// or https://. The OM will remove these prefixes when you click Save.

  1. Click Save.
