The Image tab is where you can add a link to a product image and view a product image. The Order Manager will also display product images on the Pack and Ship screen as they are packed.
Note: To enable images to display on the Pack and Ship screen, you must set the System Parameter PackingShowImages (in the Packing group) is set to True.
The Order Manager can display product images in one of two ways: 1) using the full file path to the image that you have entered in the system or 2) building the full path to the image file based on the parts of the image path (file name, file type, location) that you have entered in the system parameters. If you want to add product images by browsing and selecting an image file, then you can do that on the Image tab. However, if you have a large number of product images to add, you may want to set the Order Manager to build the image path for you, instead of adding image files one-at-a-time. By default, the Image tab has three buttons enabled: View Image, Browse Files, Browse Web. Click the Browse Files or Browse Web buttons to browse and select an image file. The image can be on the Internet, your local computer, or your network server. The path to the image will display in the Image field. (The image path will also display in the Image field on the Web Fields tab of the View Inventory screen.)
Once you have set an image for an item record, you can click the View Image button to view it at any time. To delete an image, click the Edit button on the top of the View Inventory screen, select the file path in the Image field, click Delete on your keyboard, and then click Save.
